Guiding Children to Excellence

Kiddi Kollege Child Care Learning Centers throughout the Kansas City area are committed to the continuing care and education of our children.

We pledge to ensure the highest level of education in an environment that feels like a “home away from home.”

From the moment you step in our schools to our Pre-K Graduation and beyond, you become a cherished member of the Kiddi Kollege family. Our welcoming teachers and stimulating environments guide each student’s enthusiasm for learning. So much so, that some days our students do not want to leave!

High Level Education Leads to High Level Results

Based on the results of our Kindergarten Readiness Pledge, we are EXTREMELY PROUD to present the results our Long Term study and our ADVANCED level study of our students.

Kindergarten Readiness Starts Early

One reason for these exceptional Kindergarten Readiness results comes from the fact that Kiddi Kollege’s early childhood education starts at a very young age. A high percentage of children who start at our child care centers at age two or younger score at the Advanced Levels for Kindergarten Readiness.

From emphasizing fun through movement and language skills as an infant, to learning sign language as a toddler, Kiddi Kollege focuses on your child’s future from the start. This is why we believe developing a love for learning at an early age will set children up for a lifetime of success.

A Daily Dose of Fun

Our Pledge Children Stacking Toys
Learning is not all homework and textbooks, however, and for our children, the ability to have FUN is just one of the many highlights of our program.

Studies have shown that physical play, for example, helps in development of our cognitive ability. Therefore, Kiddi Kollege is committed to integrating fun on this journey of early learning (and beyond).

Nutrition – Fuel for Fun and Learning

At Kiddi Kollege, we understand that good nutrition is not only important for feeding our bodies, but also for fueling a healthy mind. Nutrition integrates deeply into our teaching environment which is why our meals are prepared on-site by Kiddi Kollege chefs who have a passion for nourishing young minds.

Meal times are more than about food, which is why our meals occur as “family-style” in the classrooms. This encourages communication, good nutrition choices, independence, and is one of the many ways we foster our family and community-focused ideals.

Additionally, our menus follow the Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s guidelines for nutrition and offer a variety of healthy options including whole grain, low sugar, and fresh/seasonal whenever possible.

High-Level Communication Leads to Long-Lasting Relationships

A strong school-to-home relationship is essential for our children’s success in their educational journey. At our Kiddi Kollege Child Care Learning Centers throughout the Kansas City area, you’ll discover many outlets readily available to foster communication and collaboration between educators and families. We build this approach through:

  • Utilizing the latest Technology. Our teachers use a reporting program accessed by families through a messaging app which allows teachers to communicate daily activities and send notes to parents, as well as send photos of their students engaged in learning activities.
  • Publishing a Kiddi Kollege newsletter about current curriculum content and ideas of activities parents can conduct to extend their children’s learning from school to home.
  • Providing opportunities for face-to-face communication with classroom teachers at drop off and pick up times.
  • Holding annual parent-teacher conferences in the fall and spring semesters for our Pre-Kindergarten students.
